Debica educates professionals

Education in the town is kept on high level. There are eleven kindergartens in the town, two of them have infants’ nurseries. There are also nursery schools where games and lessons are studied in foreign languages. Former pupils from four grammar schools can continue their studies in six high schools. Teenagers can choose to study in comprehensive school or choose vocational training: economic, trade, comestibles, gastronomic, sewing, mechanical, building and administrative.


Qualified staff cares for young people development. All schools have excellent facilities and rich equipment. There is Faculty of Regional Development of Economic University from Cracow in Debica. Academic community takes part in town’s life by organizing many interesting events and lectures. There is also European School of Technology and Tourism, which achieves great success in training people for hotel industry and informatics.


Public Panderecki Music School of I and II level is also very important educational institution, which is proud of educating many music professionals, who are giving concerts and take part in many events happening in this district. The school is now working more than 10 years.


Vocational training Centre educates professionals according to the needs of the local job market and entrepreneurs. Current specializations are as follows: hairdresser, welder, plasterer, bricklayer, computer graphic designer and many others. Teachers from Foreign Languages College train professional staff, according to local job companies needs in the field of international communication. Many people working in local companies improve their formal vocational qualifications, what also influences international cooperation.

 

Town officials along with Debica’s Business Club organize annual Job and Education Fairs, which resulted for many people in signing employment contracts and for companies in gaining sought employees.
