Debica, one of the most interesting places to invest in the south of Poland. The town Is located in the south-eastern part of Poland, in western part of padkarpatian region, close to the border with Ukraine and Slovakia. Debica plays an important part in national and international communication system. Closeness with the border, gives Debica perfect base for setting up companies, which aim their production at export on the markets mentioned above. Major transeuropean railway truck E-30, from Berlin to Kiev runs through Debica. This connection has great influence on passenger and cargo transport. Railway station is based in the town centre. Debica is proud of its excellent passenger connections with Rzeszow (40 min), which is the capital of the province, as well as with Cracow (1 h 40 min). Additionally, you can travel by train from Debica directly to Wraclaw, Poznan, Szczecin, Katowice, Warsaw, Gdansk, Lublin, Zamosc and Przemysl. The nearest airport that can provide national and international flights is based in Jasionka, 50km from Rzeszow. There are plans to build new passenger terminal, to increase number of international flights and to extend cargo transportation system. There is another airport with far greater potential in Balice, near Cracow (120 km). This is the second airport in Poland with regard to number of passenger flights. This airport provides connections with most European countries and transatlantic connections. Airport for cargo and recreation is also located in Mielec (30km). Efforts have been taken to base passenger flights at this airport.
Debica is located on III Paneuropean Communication Channel. Town is situated close to transit road Berlin – Wroclaw – Cracow – Korczyna – Kiev. At present this is national road nr 4. There is a plan to extend part of A4 highway in years 2008 - 2012, what will considerably improve passenger and freight transport. Debica is also a communication junction for roads leading from Warsaw, Tarnobrzeg and Mielec to Jaslo and Krosno as well as for border passing with Slovakia in Barwinek.
